“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” - Socrates

Our Methodology

The Qi methodology for cultivating youth social innovators has been developed through review of global educational research and social innovation studies, combined with practical experience nurturing social awareness and action in students. The concept is centered on three domains: Being, Connecting, and Innovating thus creating a continuous cycle of systematic learning and application for students.

Competency Domains

Social Innovation Competencies

The 3 domains align to 9 unique social innovation competencies, scaffolded with different learning indicators from Kindergarten to Grade 12, forming the bedrock of our learning programs.

The Competencies such as empathetic listening, ingenuity and emotional intelligence, are also evidenced as top skills needed for future careers by the World Economic Forum and other leading research organizations.
